Bag Tag...

My friend Sarah tagged me but sadly my purse is like a black hole that is tragically unorganized, which is not like me, so bear with me.

This is what I found in my purse:

My checkbook
2 day planners (I still haven't put away last years)
Pictures I developed at Wal-mart
The Secret Life of Bees (great book)
Pureworks antibacterial lotion and foam
A red ribbon (I don't know where that came from)
My old cell phone that doesn't work
Tape and two glue sticks (for spur of the moment crafting)
A little dart (but no gun to shoot it with)
Coke bottle caps that I have been meaning to make into magnets
Black tooth paint (from Halloween, wow I am glad I am cleaning out my purse)
My glasses
Fingernail clippers
Indie's new diamond earrings from Kim (again, I am glad I am cleaning out my purse, I probably shouldn't be walking around with those in my bag)
Two packs of gum (one empty) and some mints
A bunch of hair ties, a hair clippy and a gaggle of bobbies
An unused snot rag (aka tissue)
3 lipsticks and 3 chapsticks
2 pens
A mirror
Cafe Rio card
Bajio card
Library card (sadly my cards are just randomly flying about my purse, obviously I need a wallet)
Mylicon (Ind hasn't needed this for months and yet it is still in the purse)
A straw
About $20 in cash and change
A little toy ring for Indie
A pile of garbage, papers, mail, receipts and other crap I need to shuffle through, I have a shuffling problem, but that is another blog all together.

I am tagging anyone who wants to join in.

St. George...

We went to St. George for a weekend of golfing, shopping and relaxing.
We ate at Texas Roadhouse one night, it was delicious.  Indie sat in a highchair like a big girl but was not too happy about it.  Notice her in the lower right hand corner.
Indie slept...
while we played train game.  I think we converted Mandi, Jimmy, Lindsey and Riley.  I had the worst game ever, we're talking negative numbers.  It was hilarious.

We started Monday morning (Tony's b-day) with a dip in the hot tub...
followed by a round of golf.
We were able to get a "sneak peek" of the newest resort being built in St. George called Sandhollow.  It was beautiful.
Of course the weekend just flew by but it was so nice to get away and enjoy the nice weather.

Two for Tuesday...

I figured it was fitting for my favorite thing this week to correspond with golf...

I love my golf clubs and my cute red bag.  Kim gave them to me for my birthday a few years ago and I have been getting into golf ever since.

It is really growing on me, I guess I can say that because I was doing pretty well this weekend otherwise I might have a different attitude right now.

I especially love being able to be with Tony while we golf, I know he loves it so I am glad it is something we can do together all through our lives.

I also love my cute golf shoes that match Tony's.  Annelee hooked me up for my birthday last year.  So comfy and so cute.

Happy Birthday Big Boy...

Today is Tony's 27th birthday.  We spent the weekend celebrating in St. George (more on that tomorrow) and Tony was able to do what he loves...golf.

I hope you had a great day.

I love you baby.

Friday Feature...

Today I would like to feature my daughter

Indie Marie Smith

Indie is the most amazing little person ever. She has completely stolen our hearts.

This is me and Ton at about 5 a.m. on March 19th, headed to the hospital to be induced. We were so excited. From the very second I felt I was pregnant I loved little Indie. We couldn't wait to see her and hold her.

She was born at 10:55 p.m. after a very long day of labor. We held her long enough to take this picture and then they took her to the NICU to check her over after such a rough delivery.

Indie had to hang out in the NICU for about 5 days because she was so jaundice.

She was born "sunny side up" so her poor little face was pummeled by my pelvic bone on the way out leaving her with a bruised forehead.

Weeks later you could still see the bruises and we had to use a billy blanket at home to continue to keep her billy rueben levels down from the jaundice.

For those of you that didn't know Ind was also diagnosed with Partial Trisomy 13 which is a genetic disorder. You can read more about that here and here. You can read more about her birth here.

Indie is doing so extremely well and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. There is an overwhelming feeling of joy I have as her mother. I didn't know I could love someone so completely and I thank Heavenly Father for entrusting her to me.

I love you Boozie.

After Halloween, Halloween Party...

I just wanted to flashback on a little party we went to around Halloween because the pictures are just too good.  Mandi invited us to a Murder Mystery Dinner.

Tony was a racecar driver and I was a secretary.

Kim was an assistant.

Sparky was an owner of a vineyard and Annelee was an opera singer.

Jimmy was Sherlock Holmes and Mandi was our server.

Greg was the captain and Ashlee was a flapper.

Lindsey was a foreign diplomat and Riley was a gay French man.

Mandi, of course, went all out.

Cornish game hen...hello.

It was a fantastic night.
Thanks Mand.

The highlight of the night was when Lindsey asked if Tony's chest hair was real.
Oh honey, it's real.
