Playing Tetris with Mom...

I found these pics from a few months ago when Lydi pulled out the ol' Nintendo 64 and we rocked us some Tetris.
Indie just chilled in my "t.v. chair," nibbled on the cord and learned from the master.
I don't mean to brag but I play a pretty mean game of Tetris.  I guess I should've spent a little more time doing homework in Provo rather than Tetris-ing it up...right Elly?!?

Don't be surprised...

if this new baby comes out looking like this...
I can't stop eating Life cereal.

We're talking at least one bowl a day...if not more.  For a while I was having it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It's healthy right?

To my momma...

"The Original Five"
(plus Indie, who wouldn't let me set her down)

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

We hope you are having a great day.
Thank you for being a wonderful mom, a great friend, an amazing example of a wife and a huge help in my sometimes crazy life.  I don't know what I would do without you.

We love you so much!

I was out voted...

Since Indie was a tiny baby Tony has wanted to pierce her ears.  He served his mission in Mexico and thought it was the cutest thing that all the babies had their ears pierced.  I, on the other hand, thought she was much too little and wanted to wait.  I said, "let's wait until she's one," and then when she turned one I said, "let's wait until she's two."

About 3 weeks before Christmas we were eating dinner at my parents house and my mom said, "why haven't you pierced Indie's ears yet?"  I didn't really have a great reason so we decided to take a vote.  Tony, mom, Leash, Lyd and Chlo all voted in the affirmative while me, dad and Mad (I don't think she knew what she was voting for) voted against it.  So we decided to go for it.

As you will see in the videos she barely made a peep.  The only part she didn't like was when we had to hold her head still.  And, as it turns out, I really love her ears with a little bling in them.

It has taken me forever to post these videos because blogger was being very tempermental but thanks to Mindi I now know how to post videos via youtube.

So bring on all the videos.

Long time, no blog...

I haven't been great at blogging lately because we have been dealing with a little of this...

and a lot of this...

Sorry that first picture is so gross but it was too funny not to post.  I found Indie asleep like that one morning, poor little lamb.  Right after she was sick for about a week, Tony and I were both sick for about a week.  Strangely enough it happened at the exact same time so we both laid in bed dying together.  It was the sickest we had been in a long time.

The bottom picture depicts "the hand-full" I have been dealing with lately.  Indie is not happy sitting or standing and sometimes not even happy when I am holding her.  Her newest tantrum includes banging her head on anything...walls, floors, other people, etc.  We call it her "buckin' bronco."  The other day she was sitting on the floor and got so mad she scooted over to the wall to hit her head on it.  I am at a loss as to what to do with her.  Our next step will be to get her a helmet so at least she won't hurt herself.  Hopefully she will grow out of it sooner than later.

So anyway, now if I can just pull myself out of my pregnancy induced coma (I can't get enough sleep, period) then I will be back to blogging and I have got a lot to catch up on.
