Home Improvement 2008...

After about 3 weeks of work our siding is finished!

Get ready for a picture fest, but I couldn't help it, I want you to see every bit of it.  It's funny what has become important to me now that I am a homeowner...I am ecstatic about siding and I find myself coveting my neighbors new windows...one day.

Here are a bunch of before and afters, you wouldn't believe how bloody long it took me to post these so enjoy...

For years we have had permanent bird nests, and all the poop that goes with them, within any nook and cranny that those @$%& birds could wiggle themselves into...that is no longer a problem and we have laughed so hard at the idiot birds that still try and fly back to their, now covered, hideouts...ha ha, victory at last!

This was Tony's project.  He pulled down the pretty pink corrugated wall and framed in a new wall and did a damn good job, just ask him.

While Toby, our amazing siding guy, was doing the siding, Tony and I really hit the yard hard.

We hauled away 3 tons of yard "crap," and more "crap" that ol' man Jarmon (the previous owner) had stored in the garage.  It felt so good to de-junk.

We got everything done right in time for a "Graduation BBQ" for Tony.

It has been a lot of work, but it looks so great, and that makes it all worth it...plus now we can have some rockin' bbq's.

Special shout out to Toby, mom, dad, Kim, and Tony's uncle Brad.
Thanks for helping to make this happen.

Awesome job guys!!! It look marvelous. There is nothing better than putting your blood and sweat into a project and getting results like that. We'll have to take you up on a bbq!

Don't you just love project houses. The only problem I have with them is that when I finally finish allllllll my projects (ok Coby's projects) We will hopefully be ready to move. Your house looks great! In fact speaking of projects we are pouring concrete tomorrow. Isn't it great to have a handy man sleeping next to you at night.....

You have reached the highest degree of blogDOM for that post! WOW! It is so fun to see the difference in those before and after shots. You guys are hard workers! Proud of you! The BBQ was fabulous - you are now going to be the designated Party House.
Never thought I would see Tony in a tool belt.
