The house guest we never wanted to leave...

So we splurged...

I wish!

My Aunt Joan sold her house and had to live with her daughter for a few weeks during the closing of her new house.  She needed a place for her beautiful grand piano to live in the mean time and we graciously offered our home.

I blew the dust off my ol' Phantom of the Opera sheet music and the hymn book and pretended I was as good as I wish I really was.

It was so fun to have music fill the air and the best part was it could play by itself.  I had it playing constantly.

We like to start them young at our house...

Here is Indie tickling the ivories...

Thanks Joanie for letting us babysit, we would gladly do it again anytime.

What? Taco Maker closed? I am seriously worried, it closed at South Town Mall too. I will have to constantly eat at the Centerville one to try and keep them in business. I totally agree with both opinions of Survivor and American Idol, I'm glad we're not the only ones who watch a lot of TV.

The piano is a beauty. My mom needs to have it play more often. Indie is a natural. I wish my mom kept it up with me, I really wish I could play, but I sucked so I know why she gave up.

I would love to have a piano someday, even if it was just for a few weeks. Indie is so dang cute playing it:)

So funny that I read your blog today. I have felt so bad everytime someone comes to the house and asks who plays the piano. Well this morning I approached Ashley and Lindsey and told them that I would pay for them to take piano again. (We have someone right across the street that is wonderful). I told them the deal is if they miss 1 day out of the 5 days, they owe me $2 for each day they miss practicing. I felt like I failed them, but actually our piano teacher quit and we could never find a good one. Ashley is very excited because she has no Cole to keep her busy. Lindsey is thinking about it. YEA! Sorry, Chels and Cort!
